Business Development Manager

As the Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be on expanding our dealership network internationally and forging strong partnerships with boatbuilders and key accounts.

Evoy designs, develop and deliver world-leading powerful electric motor systems for boats in the commercial and leisure market, with a team of 45 professionals.  Our leading technology and high-performance product continue to reinforce and build a strong identity and brand that has a significant appeal in the international market.

What is Expected?

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to establish and expand our dealership network within the electric boating sector. 
  • Identify and evaluate potential dealership partners, boatbuilders, and key accounts globally, aligning their goals and interests with our company’s vision and objectives. 
  • Build and nurture relationships with boatbuilders and key accounts, negotiating contracts and fostering long-term partnerships.  
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop compelling sales materials, presentations, and proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition and unique selling points. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility, network with industry stakeholders, and generate new business leads. 
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements related to electric boating, sharing knowledge and insights with the team and leveraging them in business development strategies. 
  • Potentially lead the sales team and provide strategic guidance, mentoring, and support to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. 

What do you bring to Evoy®?

To excel in this role, we would prefer if you held the following qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus. 
  • Proven senior sales experience in the boating industry, preferably in the boating sector. 
  • Strong track record of successfully establishing and managing dealership networks internationally. 
  • Experience in managing key accounts and building strategic partnerships with boatbuilders and industry stakeholders.
