TAlent recruiter

We are looking to hire a skilled Talent Recruiter to assist with the sourcing and onboarding of candidates.  In this role, you will source and interact with potential candidates online, develop talent pipelines, conduct initial candidate screenings, start onboarding, and set up interviews. You may also be required to manage the candidate database, aid the Hiring Managers with job descriptions and attend candidate qualification calls.

As our Talent Recruiter, you will provide subject matter expertise regarding labor market data, recruiting trends, competition analysis, and target geographies for specific areas of talent.  To ensure success as a Talent Recruiter, you should have detailed knowledge of modern sourcing techniques, excellent communication skills, good interpersonal and interviewing skills.

This position will report to the HR- and Administration Manager.

What is Expected

  • Source and screen qualified candidates for targeted job requisitions and job profiles
  • Partner and collaborate with recruitment team and Hiring Managers to understand current and future business needs and role-specific requirements
  • Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of qualified and diverse talent
  • Responsible for reviewing all web responses and job applications daily
  • Work with the Human Resources team regarding social media job postings, posting of new roles, removing old jobs, etc.
  • Start the onboarding process with candidates and walk them through the candidate application process and schedule orientations
  • Aid the Account Executives with job description clean-up when qualifications change
  • Complete Reference checks and record notes in a database if needed
  • Attend qualification calls and send out detailed notes to recruiting team
  • Understand current and future business needs and role-specific requirements
  • Generate innovative ideas, leverage resources, and share information to develop effective sourcing strategies to identify the candidate profiles
  • Leverage various sourcing channels and methods to develop a proactive and steady pipeline of qualified and diverse talent for open roles, repetitively hired roles, and niche roles
  • Build relationships with potential candidates through networking, employee referrals, targeting competitive companies, and passive recruiting techniques including the use of social media – ensuring a high level of candidate experience
  • Network with external sources to continually enhance relationships, as well as maintain the company’s presence in the market – quality always comes before quantity
  • Conduct pre-screening phone interviews to assess candidates for needed skill set and competencies, potential fit for current and/or future positions, and potential fit to Evoy

What do you bring to Evoy?

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, a focus on Human Resource, Marketing, or Business, is preferred
  • Previous recruitment experience either in a staffing agency or corporate recruiting environment, is an advantage
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
  • Excellent English language both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of Social Media, Recruitment Tools and systems
  • Used to delivering results against KPI’s and team objectives
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks under tight timelines
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and fast learning agility with other online tools and platforms
