Evoy designs, develop and deliver world-leading powerful electric motor systems for boats in the commercial and leisure market, with a team of 50 professionals.  Our leading technology and high-performance product continue to reinforce and build a strong identity and brand that has a significant appeal in the international market.

Location: Florø (Workshop) with domestic and international travel.

The position will report to the Service Manager.

  • Dive into support, diagnosis, and repair tasks, working directly with customers or our partners.
  • Repairing and coordinating with external suppliers who contribute.
  • Training and certifying service partners.
  • Supporting and contributing to product development and prototype activities.
  • Assembling and testing products according to documented procedures.
  • Executing and documenting service tasks and customer support both domestically and internationally.
  • Participating in the development of repair routines, documentation, and competency requirements.
  • Continuously improving health, safety, work processes, and products.
  • Assisting in developing solutions to address identified customer issues.
  • Drawing on product experience to identify areas for improvement in our products and services.
  • Make sure every customer has an amazing boating experience.
  • Get ready to travel – both locally and internationally – to provide service and support wherever it’s needed.


  • Minimum high school diploma with a trade certificate as an electrician, automation technician, car mechanic or industrial mechanic.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role involving troubleshooting and repair of electromechanical products and solutions.
  • Strong IT and data skills.
  • Knowledge of current industrial electrical standards and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, document, repair, and/or resolve issues with minimal support.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Norwegian and English. Alternatively, a willingness to learn Norwegian is required.

  • Experience or interest in maritime industry or ship systems.
  • Forklift certification and/or overhead crane certification.
